**Job Summary**:
Ensure all Policies and Procedures within the finance function of COMO Hotels and Resorts are achieved accurately.

**Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the implementation of all accounting and Hotels Policies and Procedures.
- Represent the Financial Controller during his absence.
- Ensure your team members are scheduled in accordance with business needs.
- Supervise and assist with account reconciliations, account analysis, and closing procedures at month's end.
- Proper accounting including GL, cashflow, and reconciliation, Interco.
- Preparation of financial reports in accordance with management or statutory requirement.
- Review/approve transactions processed by junior staff for accuracy and correctness.
- GST reporting, annual corporate tax returns, and any other statutory tax reporting.
- Oversee the overall fixed asset register.
- Involved in the yearend audit process, preparation of schedules/information for yearend audit, and liaising with auditors.
- Supports the development of the annual operating budget for the hotel and owner.
- Assist with monthly forecast planning for the hotel and owner.
- Ensure hotel permits and licenses are current.
- Advises the Financial Controller on existing and evolving operating/financial issues.
- Supervise and provide guidance to junior employees.
- Assist in process improvements and ad-hoc projects e.g, Pre Opening.
