**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Partner with the Global Operations (GOPS) team (Manufacturing, Production Planning, Procurement, and Quality Engineering) with emphasis on manufacturing processes, cycle time, assembly/ test sequences and quality.
- Provide first line of engineering support in resolving daily operation issues in semiconductor equipment manufacturing, through collaboration with a team of multidisciplinary manufacturing engineers, manufacturing supervisors and technicians.
- Achieve daily targets on product delivery to global customers in alignment with manufacturing engineering strategies, production schedules, quality and safety standards.
- Perform systematic troubleshooting and root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and deviations, provide immediate containment actions, and pursue long term corrective solutions with the concerned stakeholders.
- Assist Product ME to define and create manufacturing procedures, build sequence, methods, and quality documentation i.e. Operation Method Sheet (OMS), work instructions, test procedures, inspection checklists, etc. according to material and assembly specifications.
- Support the implementation of timely solutions for the suppliers, contract manufacturing, and internal manufacturing by liaising with cross functional teams in GOPS and Business Units (BU).
- Support the execution of continuous improvement projects on quality, cost, capacity, and efficiency enhancement with cross functional teams in GOPS and BU.
- Work with Product ME to deliver tooling and test equipment according to product requirements, with innovations in meeting manufacturing efficiency and customer quality.

**PREREQUISITES**
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Control Engineering
- The following would be a plus:

- Prior industrial experience especially in semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing
- Equipment servicing

**Software**:

- Microsoft office skills
- The following would be a plus:

- AutoCAD or 3D CAD experience (especially in PTC Creo)
- Visual Enterprise Author
- Experience with SAP PLM and/ or major ERP/ MRP systems and processes at user level will be a plus
- Advanced excel script writing, Visio basic or other coding or scripting skills will be a plus

**General/ Technical**:

- Ability to:

- Write procedures and create checklists
- Read 2D drawings and carry out GD&T analysis
- Interpret electrical or Pneumatic schematics
- The following would be a plus:

- Familiar with Lean manufacturing methodologies, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, Problem solving tools
- Clean room working experience

**Soft skills**:

- Details-oriented and with the ability to analyze data and drive for conclusions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with cross functional team
