Sitting within Clyde's high performing Finance Team this role reports to the Head of Working Capital, APAC. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in fast-paced environment, managing and prioritising their own workload and deadlines for multiple stakeholders, at the same time as leading a team and engaging others.
**Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Consistent delivery of day-to-day operations, including:
- Billings and E-billing of Singapore, Hong Kong, and China (Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing) offices
- Maintaining client and matter information data and related financial results
- Managing special rates for certain clients
- Monitoring volume discount for certain clients
- Ad-hoc billing reports for certain clients and practice groups
- Posting receipts
- Management reporting
- Aligning resources and demand particularly during periods of high activity, holiday or sickness
- Handling complex queries escalated by the rest of the team
- Continuous improvement of service quality and delivery efficiency
- Managing demand towards a smooth flow of work throughout the month
- Promoting a culture of standardization and shared know how to promote resilience and to present a consistent experience for our service users
- Collaborating with legal support managers as well as technical teams based in UK and USA.
- University graduate preferably in a Financial related discipline
- 3-year experience in billing
- Law firm experience is preferable but not necessary
- Language proficiency across Cantonese and Mandarin preferable but not essential
- Keen to learn new things
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to simplify complex financial information so that this can be effectively communicated.
