**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- **Must have experience on a drilling rig**
- **10+ years of field experience to learn parts, components, and use of equipment on drilling rigs (semi-sub, drill ship & jack-up)**
- **Good organization skills for warehousing both on the rigs and shorebased**
- **Good computer skills in Word, Excel, databases**
- **Ability to communicate with various cultures**
- **Understand procurement and logistics processes for drillng industry**
- **Willing to travel**

**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACTIVITIES**:
The Material Management Specialist Lead overall responsibilities are, but are not necessarily limited to, the following;
- Forecast inventory needs based on current operations
- Provide instruction to Material Coordinator regarding inventory locations
- Provide instruction to Material Coordinator regarding cyclic inventory counts
- Produce inventory reports from AMOS
- Receive and review all SFI catalog code requests from Material Coordinator
- Instruct Assistant Inventory regarding SFI catalog code request
- Research requested items for correct manufacturers part numbers and description details
- Maintain and review of data entry for all SFI catalog codes in AMOS
- Insure rig based personnel receive SFI catalog codes for new requested items in a timely manner
- Maintain the accuracy of stock card details in AMOS
- Assist procurement with materials requested by rig personnel
- Assist accounting with the detail reporting from AMOS
- Participates in meetings regarding development of AMOS
- Teach, train, and coach Material Coordinators
- Monitor transactions per rig on a daily and/or monthly basis
- Strong interface with Operations Managers and Rig Managers
- Coordinate activities with all departments in the company
