Material Pricing Specialist

At our company, we seek a skilled Material Pricing Specialist to join our team. This key role involves understanding customer requirements and leading projects to meet goals.

  • Responsibilities include managing customer pricing proposals, maintaining quote databases, coordinating material cost activities, preparing pricing for new business opportunities (bids), negotiating with suppliers, participating in meetings, and analyzing cost variances.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical component knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings and electrical specifications.

  • Understanding of the Bill of Material (BOM) structure and hierarchy, and the ability to analyze the BOM structure to the supporting engineering data.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (Excel, MS Office) and the ability to learn and use multiple applications specific to this department.
