Our client has established itself as a renowned logistics company in the industry through rapid expansion over the last few years. Today, they have extensive distribution networks and services, including air and sea freight forwarding, warehousing trucking transportation, and courier services for door-to-door delivery.
This position is part of the global Marketing & Media team and will lead Asia-centric marketing and media direction. The role will oversee the planning and delivery of all media plans, content development, customer communications/events, campaign management, industry conferences, lead generation, marketing intelligence and other activities that will drive the achievement of the brand in Asia. She/he will work closely with internal stakeholders, business support functions and vendors/suppliers to deliver high-quality assignments on budget, based on defined marketing needs.
The Challenges
You will drive overall brand/ marketing strategy development and be the go-to person for marketing needs in Asia.
You will lead the planning and execution of the business social media strategy for Asia including Oceania
Plan and implement marketing and messaging strategy tactics across all channels, including campaigns, social media, web, advertising, events, conferences, and other sales enablement initiatives.
Assist in the launch of business Logistics strategic vision, including an understanding of the line of business-focused marketing in regions as well as industry vertical focus.
This will include the development of templates and design themes that can be leveraged by other geographies to expand our presence in key verticals
Grow share of vertical market segments from the existing baseline and expand brand awareness in focus markets
Develop and implement marketing programs to help build the company's presence in targeted geographies and focused sales programs.
Coordinate corporate sponsorship and attendance at target industry conferences/tradeshows Develop related marketing collaterals such as sell sheets, case studies, PowerPoints, and videos in accordance with corporate brand guidelines, based on needs defined in conjunction with the product, service owners and commercial teams, focusing on Asia requirements.
Collaborate closely with the commercial team to create original content for the sales pitch, edit and proofread content as needed.
Development and write-up of high-quality and compelling content, not limited to press releases, customer advisories, and announcements for a wide range of internal and external channels.
Report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives; provide recommendations and insights. Support market intelligence and lead generation initiatives; develop/ drive insights to industry, local market, and ad hoc research when needed.
Liaise with internal departments, creative agencies and other vendors in the development and delivery of marketing tools and resources.
Support the wider marketing team on other ad-hoc duties. What It Takes
University graduate from an accredited university (Bachelor's or Higher Degree). Degree preferably in mass communications, business, marketing or transportation and logistics
Minimum of 6 years of working experience, with at least 3 years in marketing with a focus on business-to-business roles, ideally in an MNC environment.
Prior experience in the transportation or logistics industry would be an advantage.
