Imaging Driver & Application Developer, R&D
Overview
As a member of the R&D Advance Technologies Team, you will be responsible for imaging system interface/driver development for Windows/ Linux systems and deliver a competitive imaging to the market.

**Responsibilities**:
Involve in SW system architecture design.
Responsible in product development and transfers from Leica R&D centres in Switzerland & Germany.
Responsible for product development / design documentation.

**SW verification and testing**:
Support functional model, and prototype build and testing.
Develop features to support microscope/imaging system fabrication.
Microscope system lifecycle management
Support Cross-functional teams for problem investigation and work out solutions.

**Techinical Research**:
Involve in defining technology roadmap.
Exploring new technologies.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
Competencies
Programming skills in C# &.NET architecture.
Experience with image or real-time video processing on PC platforms using tools such as DirectX, CUDA, OpenCL, etc.
Linux platform development.
Familiar with design for manufacturing.
Experience
Experience in Object-oriented Analysis and Design is a basic prerequisite.
Experience in object-oriented programming on Microsoft Windows platform using C, C++ & Visual Studio.
Knowledge of software development methodologies preferably Scrum or other agile methodologies, and software test methodologies.
Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver solutions.
3 years of relevant experience preferred.
