**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB**:
The maintenance of the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment. Providing assistance to the Chief Officer for specific electrical cargo equipment for vessel operating in Singapore waters and in International waters.

**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Electrical Engineer is responsible to the Chief Engineer for:

- Maintaining the vessel's electrical and electronic equipment
- Adopting safe working practices
- UMS test schedules, alarm test etc
- Assisting during maintenance as required over and above electrical equipment maintenance
- First level maintenance of communications, radio and navigation equipment
- Providing support for safe and efficient running of electrical equipment during cargo operations

The job requires:

- Good team working skills
- Ability to perform all tasks in an orderly way
- Comfortable understanding and following instructions and willing to ask for clarification if necessary
- **Mandatory Requirements**
- Electrical Officer Certificate of Competency
- 2 years sea time onboard LNG vessels as Electrical Officer
- Basic and Advanced STCW safety training Requirement
- STCW Prof. in Adv Oil Tanker Cargo Ops
- STCW Prof. in Basic Oil Tanker and Cargo Ops
- STCW Proficiency in advanced Gas tanker cargo.
- STCW Seafarers with Designated Security Duties
- STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boat
