**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Dismantle electrical systems **such as **distribution boards (DBs), transformers, wiring, trunking **, and other related electrical components from project sites.
- Collaborate closely with the **electrical team **and the **client’s demolition team **to ensure the safe disconnection and dismantling of electrical infrastructure.
- Safely remove electrical systems in coordination with electricians, ensuring proper disconnection from power sources.
- **Strictly follow the dismantling schedule **agreed upon with the client and ensure that all tasks are completed on time.
- Assess materials within DBs, transformers, and wiring alongside the electrical team to determine the most effective recycling and recovery processes.
- Develop and implement dismantling procedures that comply with **electrical safety standards **and **environmental regulations **.
- Oversee the stripping, sorting, and processing of electrical components to recover metals such as **copper, aluminium **, and steel.
- Ensure that dismantling operations meet all **health, safety **, and **environmental standards **.
- **Coordinate with project managers, electricians, and the client’s demolition team **to plan and schedule dismantling operations for maximum efficiency and mínimal disruption to the site.
- Maintain accurate records of dismantling projects, detailing the volume and types of materials recovered.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends and innovations in **electrical waste recycling **technologies.

**Requirements**:

- Hands-on experience in **dismantling and recycling **distribution boards (DBs), transformers, wiring **, and other electrical systems.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and transformers, with the ability to collaborate closely with **electricians **and the **client’s demolition team **during dismantling operations.
- Experience in site work, specifically in electrical disassembly and removal from **commercial, industrial **, or **construction **projects.
- Proficiency in identifying valuable materials within electrical systems to ensure efficient recycling processes.
- Familiarity with tools and equipment used for electrical dismantling and recycling, such as **wire stripping machines **.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work closely with **electricians **and the **client’s demolition team **during dismantling projects.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Thorough knowledge of **electrical safety regulations **, **environmental compliance **, and best practices for recycling electrical components.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Degree in **Electrical Engineering **or a related field.
- Experience with heavy electrical equipment dismantling, such as **transformers **and high-voltage DBs.
- Familiarity with automation systems and advanced technologies in electrical materials recycling.
- Ability to **lead or train **teams involved in dismantling projects.
