**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for industrial PLC products.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX).
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses (e.g., FMEA, DFM, thermal analysis) to ensure product performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical designs with other system components.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure design quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including specifications, test plans, and reports.
- Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical designs.
- Identify and resolve design issues and implement improvements based on feedback and testing results.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., UL, CE, RoHS/REACH) with support from the approval department.
- Manage BOM creation and maintenance within the PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) system.
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of deliverables.

**Qualifications**:
**General**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in the industrial automation or electronics industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Siemens NX, AutoCAD).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes (e.g., plastic molding, metal injection molding, sheet metal fabrication).
- Experience with thermal management, vibration analysis, and structural integrity of electronic enclosures.
- Knowledge of optics and special plastic molding techniques (e.g., overmolding, ultrasonic welding) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Open-minded, creative, self-driven, and willing to acquire new skills and grow in the position.
