Claims Transformation and Analyst

**Entity: Allianz Insurance Singapore**

**Objectives & Key Performance Indicators**
- Claims analysts abstract, monitor and process records involving claims performed by Claims & Performance Management team.
- He/she is required to compile and analyze claims-associated data and perform related duties including tracking trends, noting patterns, and watching to detect any irregularities to HoD.
- He/she may perform or oversee the data/records and is required to serve as a liaison between numerous internal stakeholders, including Actuarial, Technical Finance and others.
- He/she is required to deal and managing claims digital initiatives/projects including scope and project changes He/she must “Think Outside of the Box” to support Claims & Performance Management team in delivering its strategic objectives rather than just responding to a pre-defined request.

**Responsibilities**
- Understand how General Insurance claims are being processed and data are being recorded in the core system and other digital solutions;
- Understand Allianz Singapore’s claims management strategies and follow all policies and procedures established for the department;
- Research, create, maintain and prepare reports on Claims related information and data to ensure reporting are carried out on timely basis.i.e. weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly;
- Assist HoD in statistical reports, operational reports and recommendations (where applicable) on a regular basis to Management;
- Document, track and resolved any service request relating to reports, initiatives and claims digital projects;
- Work closely with IT Master platform teams to further enhance the claims process and system functionalities of the core platform to move towards organizations’ STP and NPS targets as liaison person for claims team to understand interdependencies and associated pipeline and priorities for projects;
- Any other duties as and when deemed necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Recognized degree or diploma in business, accounting, or computer science
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in Insuretech and Analytics
- Available for 6 months as this is a 6 months contract position with the potential to permanent staff conversion
- Experience in Claims handling would be an advantage
- Meticulous, analytical, problem solver and organized
- Open-minded, proactive, receptive to new ideas and cope well with changes and pressure
- Good spoken and written communication skills in English
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint are a must
- Strong presentation skills would have an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of online trends and digital development, and a passion for all things digital
- Requires careful attention to detail
- Able to multitask and prioritize
- Team player with a positive, can-do attitude who is willing to work in a dynamic change orientated environment
