**Overview of job**
You will play a key role as a Media Executive/Senior Executive with the Regional Team. You will work together with other members of the Regional Team to ensure delivery of performance driven campaigns across all channels.
**Reporting of the role**
This role reports to the Regional Media Director

**Measures of success -**
**In three months**:
- Adopted best practices around client structure, channel wise understanding, media planning and exposure to tech partners.
- Become familiar with Mindshare’s performance proposition and processes (optimisation, reporting and billing)
- Demonstrate mastery of all platforms and systems which power media planning Receive great feedback from co-workers and key client contacts as a result of strong communication both internally and externally
**In six months**:
- Been confidently running the client account independently, meeting all KPIs, and be assuming client relationship management
- Become a trusted advisor through strong justification of recommendations, strong timeline management and delivering outcomes Drive the testing of new betas, platforms and other innovations for our clients
**In 12 months**:
- Taken on more client facing responsibility and started to get involved in weekly WIP meetings, attempting to educate and share new features and services
- Assist the team in research, defining strategy to preparing presentation material
- Be able to analyse and provide insights per channel
**Responsibilities of the role**:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, agency partners and media partners
- Work with Manager on strategy development and idea generation for campaigns
- Coordination with content syndication partners to ensure high executional standards
- Develop and present media plans/ documents incorporating goals, recommendations, rationale, ideas and implementation, planning costs and budget splits.
- Manage and deliver to the day-to-day needs of the accounts.
- Develop and deliver necessary reports like media flowchart updates, budget updates, contact reports, competitive, post-campaign reports, in a timely manner.
- Manage negotiation, evaluation and recommendation of media proposals.
- Work with the finance department to ensure all finance processes are adhered to and relevant data is up dated.
**What you will need**:
- Minimally 1-2 years of media planning experience, preferably in a media agency
- Keeps up-to-date with industry changes and latest practices and procedures
- Builds meaningful relationships with team members and content syndication publishers
- Excellent administrative and organisation skills
- Strong attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
- A good work ethic, problem solving and proficient time management skills
- Working knowledge of all Microsoft office software
- Comfortable using Microsoft excel and manipulating dashboards - an analytical mind that is creative as well as data-driven to identify trends/patterns and insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate genuine curiosity and interest in our client & their business
