What the role is
- As a short-term contract staff in Coastal Protection Department, you will be part of a team who develops the Coastal Inland flood model and support the implementation and operation of the flow monitoring system that collect flow and water level data for model calibration and validation.

What you will be working on
- Your main responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

- Evaluate, test and commission flow stations on site to ensure compliance with requirements and relevant standards
- Review station commissioning and technical reports which include station installation, testing, inspection, and maintenance & troubleshooting activities
- Carry out audit on data collection and data quality and review the website design of system to ensure data is logged appropriately
- Develop system maintenance workflow to ensure the functionality and continuous operation of sensors and monitoring system
- Support the coordination and management of sensor monitoring contract

What we are looking for
- Diploma in relevant engineering field, e.g. environmental, electrical, mechanical, instrumentation & control or automation
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Work well independently and a resourceful team player

Work Location: Environment Building and sites (various locations around Singapore)
