A dynamic, proactive Regional **Finance Business Partner (Commercial) **. Your strong bias for action, empathy, eagerness and passion to grow and manage people, coupled with your aim to attract premier talent, will enable BigPay to build the future of finance through technology. This is a fast-paced role in a somewhat ambiguous and ever-changing environment so the ability to be flexible is key to success.

**About the job**

A significant hire for our **Finance **team, you will work closely with the **Finance Manager **.
- Financial reporting in compliance with relevant applicable accounting and taxation standards, Companies Act, Central Bank, statutory law as well as any other relevant reporting requirements.
- This includes the preparation of information for management accounts by Products, value adding financial analysis, submissions to management, BNM, MAS, Group etc and other regulatory reporting requirements, budget in a timely, complete and accurate manner. This includes business partnering with other business units.
- Preparation of month-end closing and work closely with Corporate team for accurate and timely submissions of information
- Assist the Corporate team with queries from the auditors, tax agents, bankers, regulators and any other stakeholders
- Work closely with other business functions to design the specification of product requirements, customisation of reports and developments of end-products from the Finance’s perspectives.
- Manage the day-to-day finance operations and keeping in check of regulatory operational requirements
- Mentor team members and process daily finance transactions, reconciliations and functions are completed in an accurate, timely manner
- At the same time ensure high levels of motivation, morale and teamwork in the team. Provide support to the management team when required.
- Initiate, develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that meet business needs and comply with contract requirements, regulations and accounting standards (local and international FRS)
- Continually strive to improve processes, efficiency, standardisation and simplification activities within the team
- Getting involved in cross-functional meetings (with operations, risk, fraud, compliance, treasury etc) and perform ad-hoc duties when required

**To be successful**
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or above in Accountancy and Finance and Professional Accounting qualified
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in accounting/finance. External audit background and commercial experience within the Financial Services industry are an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge on accounting and tax principles and relevant statutory requirements are highly required, with proven experience.
- Agility & ability to thrive in demanding and fast-paced environment which requires a high degree of deadlines-driven productivity and manage well through ambiguity and complexity with minimum supervision and independently
