About the Team: As the Finance Business Partner at ByteDance and a member of the Global Finance team, you will play a critical role in driving the company's continued success across the global markets. This position is based in our Singapore office. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to key global monetization businesses, providing valuable insights to support business decision-making. You'll be an integral part of the finance team, collaborating closely with other finance business partners and cross-functional teams across the organization. Responsibilities: - Coordinate the budget planning process for global monetization: develop both short-term and long-term budget plans, monitor performance against budget, provide trend analysis to business leaders, and update financial forecasts on a regular basis. - Work out P&L based on monthly closing data, draft monthly and quarterly financial reports, track key financial indicators, analyze the difference between budget and actual, and conduct drill-down analysis on key budget accounts. - Independently and efficiently establish financial trackers and complete data consolidation, reconcile data with cross-functional teams and deliver robust data timely. - Daily operation: Review OA project/contract/payment application, keep strong momentum on compliance. Support business daily needs from a finance perspective.
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years of work experience as a Finance Business Partner (or equivalent), preferably in the content, media, or tech industry, with exposure across countries and time zones. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or a related field. - Proficient in data analysis, particularly in areas such as return on investment (ROI), financial modelling, and financial analysis. - Excellent communication skills, strong logical reasoning, and critical thinking. - Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working across multiple locations and timezones within global organizations. - Proven experience in complex financial planning and analysis, with a strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and full P&L management. - Proficiency in Excel, SQL or similar data analysis tools preferred. - Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
