**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide ABAP expertise to drive the migration of existing custom developments in SAP ECC to S/4HANA and SAP Clouds solutions, including designing and developing the custom programs in S/4HANA using the new key-user and developer extensibility models in ABAP
- Drive adoption of software engineering best practices for ABAP development (including code reviews), testing and automation
- Review & analyse relevant SAP health check reports (e.g. S/4HANA Readiness Check, Early Watch Report, ABAP Test Cockpit Report, etc), identify discrepancies, perform root cause analysis, recommend ways to address and work with developers to resolve the discrepancies
- Assess new business requirements in terms of fit for customization, system development or enhancements
- Analyse performance of technical objects, advise refinement / improvements & work with developers for implementation
- This is an individual contributor role

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Information Technology or related fields
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a highly skilled team
- At least 5 -7 years of hands-on experience in ABAP design and development, including code remediation and migration from ECC to S4
- Strong understanding and implementation experience in software engineering best practices for ABAP
- Experience in development in SAP Fiori and UI5
- Experience in ABAP Webdynpro Model generation (RFC, Web Services), Internal/External Context Mapping, Eventing, Navigation, Adaptive RFC, Custom Comps, Interfaces, Usage, Net Weaver Development Interface (NWDI Tracks, SCs, DCs), BAPIs, BADIs, RFCs, IDOCs, LSMW, writing user exits, BDC coding, ALV reports, smartforms & SAPScripts
- Familiarity with using Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools
- SAP ABAP certification on Netweaver or HANA platform is an added advantage
- Have knowledge / experience in delivering projects under the Agile framework
