**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and coordinate mooring and navigation studies
- Carry out the ship navigation simulation setups
- Work with Marster Mariner to coordinate and deliver all navigation related works
- Work with the Master Mariner to interpret navigation simulation results, assess Marine Risk and write reports
- Use GIS and AutoCAD to do simulation setups
- Use MIKE by DHI suite of software for numerical modelling
- Assist the Project Manager (technical and financial) of ongoing major marine and coastal engineering/modelling studies.
- Manage the client and deliver maritime study reports
- Deliver Navigation and Mooring proposals
- Performs QA within own field of expertise
- Maintains project schedule and reports project status
- Support regular client (external or internal) contact
- Carry out coastal and modelling studies, provide technical inputs and lead projects and manage clients

**Education and Experience**
- Understand Port Environment, various types of berthing and mooring
- Graduate degree in civil, maritime or coastal engineering or a relevant discipline
- Experience with assessing navigation safety for ports and channels
- Experience with Marine Risk Assessments
- Experience with mooring simulations
- Experience with navigation simulations
- Experience with data processing using programming language like Matlab, Python, R etc
- Experience with the MIKE by DHI suite of numerical models will be considered favorably
- Project management and proposal writing skills
- Excellent report writing skills

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Good analytical skills
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Self-motivated, and quick to pick up new skills/knowledge
- Able to analyse client requirements and identify and communicate suitable solutions
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines with mínimal supervision
- Able to understand the roles and responsibilities within a team and contribute towards the overall goals of the team
