Head of Retail Client Service Core Asia

We are looking for a **Head of Retail Client Service Core Asia **to lead and drive our client service team in the region. Based in Singapore or Hong Kong, this position is a member of our Asia Core Retail leadership team.

**_What are the ongoing responsibilities of this position? _**

Refine and promote client service capabilities
- Partners with Retail Sales executives and Sales Heads to position Franklin Templeton to win business by increasing the value and quality of our client service capabilities

Lead and motivate teams
- Leads the team to constantly deliver high-quality service and coaches team members to execute new ways of working to deliver prompt, efficient and superior service to our clients

Cultivate relationships
- Builds strong relationships with key departments like regional sales and client service, marketing, product management, investment professionals, legal, compliance, operations, information technology, and business stakeholders

Client advocacy and business problem solving
- Leads and drives continuous improvements and client experience enhancements, including assessing and identifying technology solutions to address changing client and business needs. Stays abreast of technology changes and developments to design and work in partnership with other regions in our organization to evolve our client service technology roadmap

Define and lead change
- Networks with clients and regional peers to stay abreast of client needs, servicing changes and expectations to maintain a current and future client servicing roadmap, with innovative service solutions to help attract and retain clients

Evolve the organization
- Partners with sales leaders to craft annual plans that support regional business objectives and fulfill the client service roadmap, balancing client needs with company strategies and goals

**_What qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful? _**
- Bachelor’s Degree
- CFA will be a plus
- 7-10 years of in-depth Retail/Wholesale business experience as a Leader at a medium to large size financial services company
- Good understanding of the Asia retailmarket
- Experience managing remote teams with diverse skillsets and levels of expertise, as well as sensitivity and understanding of cultural nuances
- Experience transforming and redesigning client servicing teams and capabilities
- Strong experience in retail client service, organizational design and people management
- Excellent communicator and influencer, with the ability to build relationships across all levels, delegate effectively and use strong influencing/negotiation skills
- Familiarity with Financial Services or Investment Management industry with investment product and vehicle knowledge
- Executive level complex business problem solving and negotiation skills
- Able to travel on a regular basis across Asia
