Science Lab Assistant for Schools

Singapore FORTRESS INTELLIGENCE PTE. LTD. Full time

**Personnel to be deployed at the following hours**:

- Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break
- Fridays: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, inclusive of 30 min lunch break
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

**Scope of Services**:
a) To set up chemicals, materials and apparatuses for science daily practical sessions and other science activities;
b) To clear up after every lab session by ensuring proper disposal of chemicals / materials;
c) To check that all apparatuses are in good working condition and carry out minor repairs of apparatus and equipment when necessary;
d) To clear up after every lab session by ensuring proper disposal of chemicals / materials;
e) To maintain lab safety and provide assistance to teachers handling accidents;
f) To take part in the checking of inventory stocks.

Any other ad-hoc duties as arranged and assigned by the school.

**The Personnel shall mínimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience**:

- Polytechnic Diploma, ‘O’ level or ‘N’ level.
- Excellent team-player who is organised, meticulous & the ability to multi-task
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Preferably with laboratory work experience and familiarity with safety requirements of science laboratories in a school environment.
