T&K is seeking a talented and motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team specializing in SolidWorks sheet metal and SolidWorks Simulation. As a Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of automobile bodies and systems.
- Design and develop parts, components and assemblies for vehicle body and overall system architecture.
- Assist in modeling and simulation of vehicle body as well as complete systems to evaluate performance and optimize design parameters.
- Provide technical support for the assembly, installation, and testing of all systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
- Perform R&D and identify areas for improvement in the system design, and actively contribute to design modifications and enhancements.
- Perform engineering calculations and reports.
- Work closely with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective fabrication of components and materials required.
- Conduct technical analysis and generate reports to document findings, test results, and design iterations, and effectively communicate them to cross-functional teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of design specifications, drawings, test procedures, and project progress.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables, effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with design & manufacturing knowledge.
- Prior experience of working as Mechanical Engineer, preferably in the automobile manufacturing sector.
- Experience with DFMEA and leading product from design to mass production.
- Proven proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD systems (SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation and AutoCAD) for design, documentation, and fabrication.
- Proficiency with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and moulding.
- Knowledge in modelling and simulation (e.g., SolidWorks Simulation).
- A strong propensity for teamwork, excellent communication skills.
- Good skills in communication and comfortable in working with the cross functional team.
