Marketing Analyst
This role will support our client in delivering and unlocking insights pertaining to our client’s video-sharing platform and ecosystem across owned and operated channels and products and making that information internally accessible in a useful and compliant manner. You’ll help our client’s marketing teams to understand the users, creators/artists and partners even better.
You’re a data-driven storyteller and marketer at heart You have a natural gasp for data-led thought leadership and an all-around consultative mindset. You don’t just stop at numbers and graphs but are able to translate numbers into actionable business insights and recommendations. You’re able to captivate a range of stakeholders from various disciples to bring about positive shifts in the way the brand interacts with users, creators and public media.
**Role**:
Provide invaluable insights about what motivates the consumers, why they behave the way they do and their sentiment towards products, brands and communications.
Build and maintain the data pipelines for marketing infrastructure to assure 100% data accuracy
Build dashboards for strategic business areas to monitor progress and performance
Use marketing data to uncover insights that inform business and marketing decisions
Support executing quantitative and qualitative analyses that translate data into actionable insights and business recommendations
Set up processes and methods for monitoring and insights capture and presentation
Handle ad hoc data requests and analysis requests
Build processes/tools to automate, when required
Review projects and reports executed by the agency to help ensure the integrity of reporting and analysis
Assist the team with the experimentation marketing analytics design and campaign measurement
Over time, beyond data and insights, you’re expected to support formulating brand, product, communications, language, creative and messaging suggestions, objectives and strategies.
Driven by an entrepreneurial environment, taking advantage of new technologies and data sources to create new and interesting ways to understand users.
**You**:
3+ years of data analytics experience in marketing or e-commerce and technology companies.
Passionate about all things data, and ability to digest complex data and storytelling
Can organise data findings and synthesise them with business results to form high-level business recommendations.
Solid skills in Python and SQL.
Knowledge of web and app attribution is a strong plus.
Knowledge in Google Data Studio and Excel Pivot table is a plus.
Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects across APAC.
