**Our Client**:
Our client is a very well-known firm within the Power, Renewable and Energy space. They are actively looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding projects team in Singapore.

**The Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the maintenance team's planning and execution of assigned plant maintenance activities, ensuring they are completed within the designated schedule and budget
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and company safety standards while meeting all of the company's requirements
- Develop the capabilities of the maintenance staff through appropriate interventions and on-the-job training
- Provide essential support to the Power Plant to ensure the fulfillment of contractual, technical, and commercial objectives
- Supervise and manage both preventive and corrective maintenance for all plant equipment and utilities
- Conduct frontline troubleshooting to promptly address equipment defects and failures, thereby maintaining high equipment availability
- Offer expert guidance and advice to the maintenance staff and external contractors to ensure the execution of maintenance work adheres to high engineering standards
- Take charge of daily maintenance manpower planning and allocation, optimizing resources for efficient operations
- Maintain and update comprehensive maintenance data and records for all plant equipment and utilities
- Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensure that all safety precautions are followed during maintenance tasks
- Undertake any additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by power plant management to support overall operational efficiency

**The Requirements**:

- A Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on work experience with equipment related to the craft
- Possess in-depth knowledge of installation, troubleshooting, routine inspection, and maintenance practices
- Familiarity with vibration monitoring and alignment of rotating equipment is a valuable skillset
- Showcase proficiency in handling lubrication practices to ensure equipment longevity
- Capable of maintaining meticulous maintenance records using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for effective tracking and documentation
