Get to know our Team:
The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute towards Grab’s vision of being Southeast Asia’s superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop and execute business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community.

As part of the Singapore Operations team, the Merchant and Payment Operations team work alongside the business verticals (GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabExpress, GrabforBusiness and GrabPay) to enable the various strategic initiatives and ensure the core operations continue to run smoothly.

We are the voice of all types of merchants in Grab Singapore (e.g. GrabFood, GrabMart, GrabPay, etc) and we advocate for solutions that best meet their needs. This would require close collaboration with various cross functional teams e.g Regional, Finance, Product, Automation, Support teams.

We also oversee the payment and fund flow operation processes across our various partners including drivers, merchants and clients in the different verticals.

The day-to-day activities:

- Deliver strategic projects by working closely with business owners and product managers to roll out new features and build payment operational processes
- Liaise closely with business lines to manage and ensure smooth fund flow to and from Grab’s merchant-partners
- Act as the voice of merchants and feedback internally to drive payments process excellence
- Manage Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and monitor service standards of agents supporting the team’s daily operations through performance measurement and reporting
- General project management and reporting, collaborate extensively with stakeholders in different verticals

Must-haves:

- Bachelor degree in a related area of study with strong academic credentials
- Minimum 4 years of relevant payments / operations project management experience, preferably working in fast and entrepreneurial environments.
- Process-oriented as well as strong organizational skills with a hands-on mentality
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving, structured thinking and decision making
- Customer centric mindset and the willingness to challenge the status quo
- High proficiency in Excel is a must
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and adapt to fast-changing dynamic, ambiguous environments
- Have a positive attitude and can-do spirit, come across as fun, easy-going, vibrant, and creative
- Team player, excellent interpersonal & communication skills, good attitude

Bonus points:

- Prior experience in digital payment landscape, online food, grocery delivery
- Accounting knowledge
- Python, SQL, R knowledge
- Working knowledge of software tools such as Salesforce, Zendesk, Tableau, Power BI
- Prior experience in internal controls/ audit
