As the Copy Editor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of written content across all of our projects. Your primary responsibility will be to review and edit various forms of content, including web copy, blog posts, social media posts, marketing materials, and more. You will work closely with our account managers, project managers as well and content creators to ensure that outgoing content and messaging are always clear, error-free, and on-brand.
- Copy Editing: Review and edit written content for grammar, punctuation, spelling, clarity, style, and consistency.
- Proofreading: Conduct thorough proofreading to identify and rectify any typographical or formatting errors.
- Content Quality Assurance: Ensure all content meets high-quality standards, is free of errors, and adheres to the client's brand guidelines and tone of voice.
- Brand Guide Adherence: Ensure that all content follows the appropriate brand guides and industry best practices.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with content creators, writers, and the marketing team to provide feedback and guidance on improving content quality.
- Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to writers and content creators to help them improve their writing skills and produce high-quality content. Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance the quality of our content.
**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a copy editor or similar role.
- Min 2 years in writing and marketing skills
- Strong communication and research skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience in digital marketing and an understanding of SEO principles is a plus
