We are looking for a Chief Accountant to join our team
In this role, you will take on a pivotal position, supervising and actively participating in the preparation of financial statements and management reports to ensure timely submission. Your key responsibilities include:
Overseeing and actively participating in the preparation of financial statements and management reports to ensure timely reporting.
Conducting comprehensive fluctuation analysis, involving research, identification, and documentation of variance justifications.
Ensuring the completion of all statutory reports, including GST filings, XBRL uploads, and more, well before the due date.
Acting as the key liaison with external and internal auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.
Providing consolidated reporting that is both timely and accurate, in line with relevant accounting standards and statutory guidelines.
Preparing and meticulously reviewing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries by accessing financial system data.
Assisting in the annual budget preparation process.
Coordinating the preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.
Managing and reviewing income tax and deferred tax computations, as well as any necessary information to facilitate punctual tax filings.
**Job Requirements**:
A Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Accounting, Finance, or ACCA qualification.
A minimum of 3 years' working experience in a similar capacity is a requirement for this position.
Hands-on experience in accounts consolidation is preferred.
A good understanding of Financial Reporting Standards.
Self-motivated, adaptable to changes, with strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
