**Description**:
Thales is a global technology leader with five vertical markets — digital identity and security, defense and security, aerospace, space, and transport.

This BIM modeler role is with Thales transportation division in Singapore. The team in Singapore provides Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) and Industrial Control Systems (ICS) solutions to various railways lines.

You will be working as a BIM Modeler within the Hardware Design team. The work performed is focused on station, trackside electrical and mechanical design artefacts such as cable layouts, CAD drawings and BIM models. The team also designs interfaces to various equipment and third parties such as platform screen doors, legacy signaling system, emergency stop plungers, signal lights, switches and others.

You will work closely with the Installation, Testing and Commissioning, Procurement team and others in support of the overall One Team One Thales objectives.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for maintaining and updating 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit MEP
- Responsible for producing BIM execution plan, inputs to 4D, 6D and 7D BIM and other BIM-related deliverables
- Responsible for producing 2D Equipment Layout and Routing Diagrams using AutoCAD/MicroStation with inputs from Signaling Designers
- Liaise and coordinate with other BIM coordinators and Modelers to resolve routing and installation conflicts
- Participate in civil surveys and coordinate with the installation team to resolve installation site constraints
- Ensure the hardware design and functional documents produced are issued and controlled in accordance with company quality processes

**Requirements**:

- Must have a Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Must be proficient in Autodesk Revit MEP
- The following is desirable:

- 5 years of experience in the related field
- Autodesk Revit Certification / BCA Academy’s BIM Modeling Certification
- Experience with Autodesk CAD
- Experience with 4D, 6D and 7D BIM
- Experience with working in large civil projects with various contractors
- Production of BIM deliverables for LTA (Land Transport Authority) projects
