**Job Description**:
Join us as a Senior Manager, Data Science and play an instrumental role in steering the implementation and development of data solutions within the Global Data Solutions team. You will translate analytical insights into captivating narratives tailored for our clients and stakeholders while offering valuable data-driven advice to support business growth. You will work closely with Visa Managed Services, Country Data Science Teams, and Regional Functions to bridge the gap between Visa and client organizations through our Data Labs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- You will be responsible for understanding and defining the role of data labs within client organizations. As part of this, you will work with key stakeholders to determine how data labs can best be leveraged to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- You will play a key role in selling the value of our data and capabilities to key stakeholders within the client organization. Your skills in articulating the value and potential of our data will help earn buy-in, paving the way for successful data lab implementation.
- Fuel pre-sales activity and advisory roles with your expertise in developing Data and AI strategies that bolster card business operations, manage risk, and steer marketing activities effectively.
- Utilize datasets from VisaNet or third-party resources to create compelling proofs-of-concept for product development or to fulfil client use cases. Craft engaging, data-driven stories that easily communicate complex analytical concepts to a diverse audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data science strategies. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science field.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- A Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- A minimum of five years' work experience in a data science role, specifically with a background in payments solutions and advanced data science.
- Extensive proficiency in Python, Spark, Hadoop/Hive for model development, and data processing.
- A proven track record demonstrating an ability to manipulate, process, and extract value from extensive datasets at scale.
- Striking communication skills, showcasing an ability to translate complex technical data into compelling narratives.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Solid evidence of experience in managing, analyzing, and implementing insights from large datasets.
- Demonstrable expertise in a customer-facing, advisory role, with a focus on creating effective data strategies.
- A comprehensive understanding and familiarity with current industry trends and advancements in data science.
