**What You Will Achieve**:In this Co-op/internship/temporary (select one) position, you will have the opportunity to be immersed in an assignment in which you will gain industry experience and help solve some of the biggest challenges we face today. With guidance from your mentor, you will understand the expectations of an employee in a professional setting and how to work independently, as well as within a team, to achieve your project goals. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values diverse thinking and encourages calculated risk taking.

**Internship Scope (Duties & Responsibilities)**:

- Attach and support PCT (Process Centric Team) on the day to day operations to

experience typical batch or/and continuous unit operations. Be engaged and assist the Process Manager to perform short term improvement projects to improve cycle time, yield and productivity with cross functional teams.
- To support startup activities in Tuas 2 extension plant.
- To support in quality and safety related manufacturing issues (QARs/IRSs) and associated related actions.

**How You Will Achieve It**:

- Manage own time and professional development, be accountable for own results and prioritize workflows.
- Support Business Operations team members in organizing and administering meetings, travel and expense reporting, where needed.
- Identify and support process improvement activities.

**Qualifications**:
**Skills to be developed**:

- Exposure to unit operation, manufacturing, and quality systems in API manufacturing
- Exposure to new extension plant startup activities
- Experience cGMP and GDP practices in pharmaceutical industries
- Learn various equipment functions
- Gain knowledge in safety and quality standards
- Develop communication skills across functional teams

**Basic Skill Requirements**:

- Engineering background is preferred
- Creative and innovative
- Independent and motivated to self-learning
- Able to work with team
- Willing to lead in projects
- Keen to explore working in pharmaceutical manufacturing as a career
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint

**Duration of Internship**:

- 6 months or more

**Institution**:

- Polytechnic, University (NTU or NUS)
