**Senior Network Security Engineer (Automation)**

A Senior Network Security Engineer (Automation) role in Singapore, paying up to $140,000 per annum for a leading tech MNC

The client is a leading tech organisation that has a wide range of offerings, from consumer products, to IoT, to automation. They are based in Germany and have footprints globally, being a leader amongst their competitors.

**Your new role**

You will be part of a mature team that handles all network operations, including VPN infrastructure, service delivery, security, automation and customer focus. Operational duties and new implementations and projects will be part of your daily routine to adhere to the internal and customer needs while maintaining high standards within the organisation. You will also act as the point of contact for network-related issues and troubleshooting for smooth operations.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Some of the skills that you need to succeed in the role include:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of network technologies, TCP/IP, SDWAN NAT, Routing, Web protocols, and SSL, VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL, DMVPN. GetVPN)
- Broad knowledge of basic network and security concepts and implementations with focus in Cisco hardware and software platforms
- Knowledge of network automation is beneficial (Python, Ansible, CI/CD, GIT, Scripting, etc.).
- Proficient at troubleshooting with packet capture tools.
- Competent in both Linux and Windows systems.
