**About the Role**:
We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Network Engineer to support our growing SME operations. In this role, you will manage our network infrastructure, support IT systems, and be given the opportunity to grow into cybersecurity functions, including the deployment of security products and assisting with security monitoring and analysis.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Network & IT Support (Primary)**:

- Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless APs).
- Ensure network availability and performance.
- Manage VPN connections, VLANs, IP addressing, DNS/DHCP services.
- Support day-to-day IT operations, including user connectivity, system access, and printer/network issues.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams, and asset inventories.

**Cybersecurity (Growth Area)**:

- Assist in managing firewall rules and reviewing security logs for anomalies.
- Learn and help implement security best practices (patching, access control, data protection).
- Participate in basic incident response and log analysis under guidance.
- Contribute to asset tracking and basic risk assessments.

**Who We're Looking For**:
**Required**:

- Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 1-3 years’ experience in network or IT support role.
- Familiar with networking concepts (TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switching, firewalls).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and willingness to take ownership.
- Eagerness to grow into cybersecurity (training provided).

**Nice to Have**:

- Basic knowledge in endpoint security, or SIEM tools.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud-based tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
- Exposure to scripting or automation is a bonus.
