Singapore MOI INTERNATIONAL (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. Full time

You will manage a team of 7-8 people (executives and assistants) for managing of overseas operations for the entities based in Africa and India
- You will assist our marketing and business team in their daily sales activities, logistics, trade and operations.
- You will assist the Profit center heads/business managers in trade processing by preparing trades (Rice, cashew, cocoa, sesame, soya bean etc.) basis the costing discussed and provide support to the local teams based in Africa and India, while ensuring check and balance, taking care of HQ interests.
- You will be involved in managing and monitoring banking requirements of overseas subsidiaries.
- You will manage the daily logistics operations and outbound shipment planning for different types of products by liaising with local team and HQ various departments.
- You will ensure smooth delivery of shipment by working closely with freight desk, shipping agents, treasury team and overseas suppliers.
- You will provide support for internal customers such as overseas subsidiaries as well as monitor their adherence to their/HQ internal control procedures/SOPs.
- You will be arranging monthly and quarterly business meetings to discuss on financial and business performance.
- You will ensure standard operating procedures are followed and suggest the improvement/creation of new procedures (HQ check and balance’s considerations) based on the changing business requirements.
- You will be given opportunities to monitor and manage the performance of business unit.
- Handle trade and contractual management and issuance of Dubai’s overseas company/business.
- You will be involved in monitoring activities for the commodities involving futures trading and forex hedging.
- You will need to review and ensure accurate processing of payments of overseas subsidiaries, preventing erroneous/fraudulent payments.
- You will need to review and ensure accurate processing of trade/non trade payments.
- You will need to review trade and non-trade agreement/ contracts before they can be signed and executed by local teams based in Africa and India or HQ.
- You may get opportunity to travel overseas basis your performance to ensure procedures as set are in place and to have on -ground exposure on how the operations works which will facilitate effective operations coordination and control in future.
- You will ensure proper planning for the stock to be stored under CMA/SMA arrangement.
- You may also need to be involved in managing/monitoring bulk shipments operations.
- You may also need to be involve in managing/monitoring marine insurance coverage adequacy and claims submissions

**Key competencies and qualifications required**:

- Preferably a 2nd Class Upper Honours Degree in any business/finance/science discipline;
- Minimum 6-10 years working experience
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferably
- Possess Navision knowledge is advantageous
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Possess initiative and self-driven
- Ability to work under highly time-sensitive situations
- Ability to thrive in complex business environments
