The Purchasing Executive is primarily responsible for the effective and competent execution of procurement and sourcing duties to support Business Units in Thomson Medical Centre and its Subsidiary Specialist clinics, as well as administrative works in the Central Supplies.

**Responsibilities**
- Sourcing and evaluating potential vendors and obtaining competitive quotations for RFQ/RFP
- Handling and Coordinating close/open Tenders with hospital and clinics requesters
- Conduct/Arrange for product and vendor evaluations with all relevant end users and requesters
- Create Materials item code and raise ePR and ePO through the Hospital Information System
- Coordinate with Warehouse Logistics to assist Goods receiving report
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with awarded vendors
- Ensure timely delivery and check order status on purchase orders/blanket orders
- Update all purchase pricing records in the system and maintain Approved Vendor list
- Ensure Compliance, Quality standards and Procurement procedures
- Providing support services in the Inventory Management and Forms Management.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Business Supply Chain or related field
- At least 2 - 3 years of experience in purchasing or similar roles in procurement.
- Able to multi-task and possess strong analytical communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, able to work independently and as a team
