Part Time Shadow Teacher for Special Needs Child

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated **Shadow Teacher **to provide individualized support to a special needs child in a classroom setting. This role involves working closely with the child to facilitate learning, social interaction, and overall development while assisting the class teacher with daily activities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support to the child, ensuring their educational and social needs are met.
- Adapt classroom activities and materials to suit the child’s learning style and needs.
- Assist with managing behavior and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to implement and monitor tailored learning strategies.
- Encourage the child’s participation in group activities and interactions with peers.
- Communicate regularly with teachers and parents about the child’s progress and any areas of concern.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs (preferred).
- Preferred with ECH Relevant Qualifications
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and think creatively to meet individual needs.
- Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields (advantageous but not mandatory).

Work Location: 336 River Valley Road

Working hours: 10:00am to 4:00pm (1 hour break time)
