**Job Summary**:
The Executive - Procurement supports the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. He/She performs forecasting, material planning and procurement functions in line with regulatory requirements, and supports vendor management based on established supplier selection processes and criteria. With a clear understanding of customers’ needs and expectations, the Executive - Procurement enhances service quality by identifying and recommending innovations to improve work processes and systems.
He/she should possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver work outcomes. He is also expected to engage in trainings and performance improvement opportunities to meet individual and business key performance indicators.
**Job Responsibilities**:
- Deploy organisation's procurement activities based on established product specifications and customer needs in accordance to company’s ESG guidelines and policies.
- Continuous review and leverage on the e-procurement systems to streamline the supplier selection process, improve compliance and strengthen risk management in accordance with company’s ESG guidelines and policies.
- Verify inventory needs by gathering inventory-related information from customers to determine customer requirements.
- Address customer dissatisfaction of products, service standards while working with relevant parties to resolve issues in support of company’s supply chain operations.
- Engage in On-Job Training (OJT) and performance improvement opportunities.
- Identify trends and patterns in business performance data using basic data analytics tools.
- Support implementation of safety, health and corporate governance standards and procedures.
- File electronic and hardcopy documents according to standard procedures and requirements.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement /Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent certifications/professional qualifications (with minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in procurement and purchasing will be preferred)
- Diploma (with minimum relevant working experience in procurement and purchasing of 4 years)
- 2-4 years of relevant working experience in procurement and purchasing will be preferred.
- Possesses strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses strong customer orientation and customer relationship mindset.
- Independent working trait with strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in use of MS Office Applications / Microsoft Power Platform Applications.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage.
