**QA & Financial Analyst - Reinsurance Accounting**:

The QA & Financial Analyst steers the Quality Assurance (QA), quarter closing activities and other special projects within Reinsurance Accounting (RIA) Non-Life Operations for the Asian and Australian entities. The incumbent will also work on process improvement and simplification initiatives and participate in cross functional projects which is meant to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the RIA Operations.

Your job
- Lead and perform treaty maintenance activities
- Interpret contract wordings for accurate recording of financial transactions
- Manage QA activities for RIA Operations by analysing, verifying and validating data within the technical ledger to ensure that correctness of financial records.
- Proactively steer the RIA business run-off and commutation activities
- Administer internal retro accounting & claims transactions
- Support the team in ensuring that it delivers on its key performance and QA KPIs
- Support internal reporting activities
- Support process automation initiatives within the RIA Operations
- Liaise and coordinate with auditors
- Contribute actively to and/or leads cross-unit projects and working groups

**Profile**:

- Graduate (for example in finance, accounting, insurance, business, mathematics, law, ) or completed professional insurance or accounting qualifications and relevant professional experience
- Sound knowledge of insurance, reinsurance and general accounting, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Advanced IT skills in MS Excel and data analytics tools; excellent analytical and data analytics skills
- Full professional working proficiency in English and working proficiency in another foreign language
- Convincing, confident and able to present and convey ideas clearly and comprehensibly
