The Finance Department ensures IPOS' financial resources are efficiently managed through proper allocation of resources and funds management. The Department is looking for a new team member to execute activities for budget planning and administration to support the business operations and strategic outcomes of the organisation.

**Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Senior Assistant Director, Finance, you will:
**Budget Management and Analysis**:

- Oversee the annual budgeting/forecasting exercise and operational budgeting process in the WorkDay system to ensure optimal resource allocation to achieve strategic outcomes.
- Work with budget representatives to evaluate and review budget submissions by using appropriate financial indicators and benchmarks for reasonableness.
- Prepare the budget presentation and make suitable recommendations on budget implications for Board’s approval.
- Review actual budget utilisation, investigate the underlying reasons for the variances and recommend appropriate actions to improve budget markmanship.
- Provide business partnering to departments and offer sound advice on financial planning and
- analysis.
- Review and update policies and procedures as required, including leading IT-related implementation and enhancement projects.

Take on other ad-hoc finance duties as assigned.

- A Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant functional experience.
