The role of the Group IT Systems Analyst is to provide an integral part of an established team providing the management and support of the group wide IT services provided to the WMFTS group.

Key part of the role is in supporting is providing the group service management function for the regional and providing remote first line IT support to the user base in the region

In addition (by working as part of a team) supporting the technical infrastructure transition of any underlying global Systems platform which is being deployed across all the Watson-Marlow Fluid Technology Group of 9 manufacturing sites and 35+ direct sales operations.

**This role will focus on**:
Primarily (but not exclusively)
- Monitoring and maintain IT infrastructure, end user and respond immediately to security or usability concerns on IT service efficiency and other processes with IT Service Management Ticketing Platform and engagement
- Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats
- Creating user accounts and performing access control
- Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures to optimize computer systems
- Creation / update of procedural documentations, processes and relevant reports and ensuring backing up and archiving data are functioning correctly as required
- Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures
- Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems
- Manage any IT support calls assigned to local third-party IT partners and service providers
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration, operational transition and user training
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and resolving hardware or software faults
- Software deployment via appropriate mechanism eg via group SCCM platform
- Manage Group wide site audit process, by for example Work and coordinate on Group IT audits, and/or performing an on-site audit
- Working on a Rota basis provide out of hours priority 1 support
- Working with Group and third-party provider, to support the management of our Group wide area network
- Coordinating and lead on supporting Group wide IT projects for any IT Services implementations

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
Qualifications:

- Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT services and support.
- Certifications in network, information technology management, etc. would be an advantage.

**Experience**:
Essential:

- Hands-on experience in end user IT services and facilities coverage.
- Experience in cloud technology.
- Knowledge of basic system and network security.
- Organizational skills, and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong customer-focus and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new requirements and innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong accountability and sense of responsibility.

Desirable:

- Significant experience in IT system administration and remote\onsite Deskside and Helpdesk support
- Understanding and ability to work and coordinate on IT Service Operation Level 1 - 3 support teams
ITIL and DevOps or above
- Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues
- Manufacturing and Engineering industry experience
