Operation Director

Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the Company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively manage and grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiencies.
- Provides strategic direction to Operations Manager in SG, establishing and accomplishing business objectives and Leadership to ensure factors / standards / brand identity is achieved.
- Drives and accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; making mid-course corrections.
- Develops, recommends and implements policies and procedures of the countries to ensure maximum revenues
- Coordinates efforts of establishing a cooperative operational approach to procurement, production, Strategy and Creative processes and technical and information services processes.
- Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and are in compliance with health and safety regulations and energy management;
- Coordinates with landlords on all operational matters
- Conduct Routine Audit Checks and prepare quality analysis report and troubleshoot food safety and quality related problems or complaints
- Provide Final Memoranda to Operations team and follow up and review on new developments.
- Implementation of Culture work book across countries
- Oversee Catering logistics to ensure a smooth flow
- Lead menu launches while working closely with the Chefs and Marketing Dept.
- Coordinate new Outlet openings /logistics in SG (Pre-opening checklist, POS Set up, Telephone lines/ Pest Control, Ordering of Utensils, Liaise with contractors /Suppliers etc)
- Provides timely, accurate Monthly reports on the operating condition of the Company to Management
- Coordinate IT maintenance by liaising with IT Vendors
- Track and Monitor performance KPI of Operations Manager Assess performance trends and propose corrective measures in case of performance deterioration.
- Conducts briefings and performance appraisals to gauge staffs’ knowledge and guide them towards their career path.
- Conduct weekly meetings with Finance Team to deliver recommendations, or reports by creating analysis for cost-benefit and returns
- Share customer Complaints with Operations team and provide Solutions to team to overcome and resolve to the customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all Pre-Order logistics for smooth operations and third-party delivery platforms
- Inspect all outlet premises to identify infestation source and extent of damage to property, wall, or roof porosity and access to infested locations and liaise with Pest control Vendors for maintenance works.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance are up to standards and within budget
- Deploy all marketing initiatives and work closely with the marketing team to ensure effectiveness of all campaigns. Participate and share inputs towards F&B Marketing activities.
- Handling customer complaints and queries and ensure timely follow up on the same business day
- . Collaborate with the HR Manager to identify training needs and competency gaps.
- Planning and working on budgets, maximizing profits and achieving sales targets set by head office, administering payrolls, KPI’s etc.;
- Develops an operating budget for each of the department’s revenue outlets; after approval, monitors and takes corrective action as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.
- Assists Managers in preparing the monthly and yearly Food and Beverage division budget.
