**Job Description**:
Roles & Responsibilities

Identify technical risks related to migration plan, come up with mitigation plan e.g. potential performance issues, potential availability issues, external dependencies etc.
Adopt test driven development and lead refactoring to classic and modern patterns.
Business co-ordination for requirements gathering and understanding, and impact analysis.
Effort estimation, task assignment, monitoring and technical assistance to the team.
Documentations, presentations and Development env setup with IDE with SVN/GIT code repository.

Job Requirements:
Minimum 15+ years of relevant hands-on experience in full development life cycle software development.
The position is for a lead-level engineer who should be able to define and drive good practices/act as a mentor across the team.
Should be able to drive projects and lead the team with a high "say-do" ratio.
Proficient in implementing Non-functional requirements ( Performance/Security ) and write automated tests.
Perform rigorous code reviews and establish industry best practices.
Should be a quick learner and keen on learning new technologies.
Collaborating with other engineering teams and architecture to develop new features.
Experience in SOAP and REST web services.
Experience in SQL and NO-SQL data bases like Oracl, Mongo DB.
Good working knowledge of Spring, REST, ORM frameworks like Hibernate, OOAD, and design patterns
Exposure to Microservices using Spring Boot, Docker, AWS will be an added advantage
Able to create design documents for features or enhancements
Experience in SVN, GIT, SonarQube, Crucible, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines - DevOps and AWX (Ansible), log analysis ( Splunk/Kibana, etc. ).
Experience in the Agile process, Scrum.
Experience in the Java 11 or latest version.
Exposure to the performance Testing tools Meter/VisualVM.
Exposure in the Apache, Atlas, Netscaler, Shield Load Balancers.
Exposure to Event-driven architectures - Kafka/HornetQ.
Exposure to Automation testing, integration, and component testing would be an added advantage.
Exposure to Search frameworks like SOLR

**Must Have Skills;**

Strong hands on knowledge in Java8 / 11 with min 2 Projects end to end lifecycle Experience
Strong Experience in Microservices and Spring Boot

**Good to have Skills**:
Experience in SVN, GIT, SonarQube, Crucible, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines - DevOps and AWX (Ansible), log analysis ( Splunk/Kibana, etc. ).
Exposure to the performance Testing tools Meter/VisualVM.
