**Accountabilities**:
The Area Manager is responsible to achieve the sales objectives and to ensure that the whole aspects of store operations for Singapore is complied with corporate standard. This role will also act as a brand ambassador to support the retail operations of other Controlled Retail stores in the region.
**Responsibilities**:
- In charge of the store operations for all stores in Singapore
- Develop the sales goals of stores
- Responsible for the setting up of retail operations system to maximize profit and revenue, and to reduce the cost
- Lead the store staff to achieve sales and maintain highest morale and enthusiasm
- Evaluate proper sales procedures, and effectively lead store staff to follow
- Develop the sales turnover of stores according to the sales goals
- Ensure that all staff is properly trained on every aspect of the business such as product knowledge, store procedures etc.
- Effectively manage the overall store environment with regard to stock management, stock takes, follow-up deliveries, re-orders and security, and report any discrepancies to the regional office on timely basis per the company policy
- Responsible for administrative issues at the stores in cooperation with all store in-charge, and coordinate with other functional teams in Hong Kong to manage store organization
- Coordinate with Merchandising team to ensure the right product assortment for the store
- Propose any in store promotional event to drive traffic and business; coordinate with regional marketing team on any event preparation and execution
- Responsible for recruitment and selection of store employees; cooperate with regional HR to manage the employees’ issues
- Support Controlled Retail’s retail operations by providing guidance to the partners on brand standard to achieve retail excellence
- Liaise with landlord/department store on administrative issues
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or above in related disciplines
- At least 8-year experience in store/retail operation management
- Strong leadership and management skills; able to lead the team achieve various KPIs
- Passion for the brand, self-motivated with strong interpersonal skill
- Customer service oriented with commercial mindset
- Proficient in computer skills including MS Office and openness to new technologies
- Good command of written and spoken English
