Excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role with a regional remit in a global engineering company
**Responsibilities**:
Our client, a global player in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial, and commercial lawyer who thrives in fast-paced and complicated environments and enjoys interacting with senior management and cross-disciplinary teams to be based in Shanghai or Singapore. Serving as the primary legal point of contact for their businesses and personnel across APAC, you will provide legal support to their regional entities and ensure their operations comply with applicable laws and regulations.
**Requirements**:
Ideally, you are a qualified lawyer with substantial experience advising senior and executive management on complex legal issues for a listed company in the region. Corporate or commercial contracts expertise plus experience in the industrial or engineering sector are essential. In addition, you must have exceptional interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in working effectively with regulators, colleagues from business units, and senior management. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required as you need to lead China's legal team and work with the business units in China.REF: 16743 /IND
