Roles & Responsibilities
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**

As a member of the Nike SEA&I and APLA Logistics Operations team, the **Director - Logistics SEA&I** delivers operational excellence in Logistics & Distribution management and drives Nike SEA&I inbound, warehousing & outbound delivery requirements to support targeted financial growth, Delivery Precision and Inventory turns as per the yearly Targets. Supports & drives the REFF Geo priorities as well as the 3 SEA&I Strategic priorities: developing key capabilities to bring product faster to market, drive operational excellence through collaborative & integrated teams & improve Service levels through continuous process elevation.

**WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?**

**Core Focus**:

- Develop Supply Chain vision, deliver key Operations/ Logistics capabilities & efficiencies, manage 3PLs strategic relationship, drive process excellence according to priorities
**Strategic Thinking**:

- Define the vision of Future SEA&I Supply Chain requirements and drives continuous improvements to enhance service, reduce costs and deliver optimal Inventory levels to support FY19-21 Strategic priorities.
- Accountable for the performance and consolidated results of the multiple Countries Operations/ export Distributors & 3PLs.
Manage resources to ensure the best allocation to meet financial and operational objectives, manages resource availability and functional objectives deliverables.
- Continuously define and develop new key capabilities required to expand Brand/ Operational presence within SEA&I to allow brand elevation and revenue expectations to be met.
- Partner-up with Nike Geo/Global network to ensure direction adherence, approval and support.
- Drive new capabilities programs (ie. Digital) to ensure optimal Supply Chain efficiencies through reduced lead-times & costs and enhanced service levels.
**Leadership Management**:

- Provide leadership to Managers, team members, supervisors &/ or professional staff.
- Develop departmental plans to set up priorities for the function.
- Adjust resources and decisions based on availability and functional objectives/needs.
- Take active part in the IMP, S&OP & IBP forums.
- Integrate Brand plans and company vision into daily work and planning, leads and participates in key initiatives or programs with wide to moderate visibility.
**Deliver Solutions**:

- Identify and resolve complex technical, operational and organizational problems.
- Make decisions guided by functional Business plans that impact the support and funding of projects, products, services or technologies.
- Responsible for actions and managing risks across the portfolio that have shared or moderate impact on own tracks of work and have limited short-term impact on company assets.
Drive Process Excellence through Short-term opportunities or more structural x-functional initiatives.
**Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning**:

- Manage annual budget for 3PL’s and internal Nike SEA&I Logistics Costs.
- Supervise/ Audit the 3PLs performances, drives assessment on future capabilities needs and budgeting.
- Supervise and eventually challenge forecast to 3PL’s in coordination with the Country Ops teams.
- Supervise DCs capacity plans together with 3PL’s to ensure Nike’s annually targets are met.
- Supervise, maintain and communicate monthly and weekly tracking reports.
- Ensure that 3PLs do comply with agreed upon processes and procedures as documented in the contract and SOP’s, updates SOP’s when necessary. Drives/ Coordinates internal & external audits.
- Drive key performance indicators with 3PL’s, Nike SEA&I, APLA and Global Operations as well as corrective actions on non-conformances.
- Seek for improvement opportunities.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly performance reviews with 3PL’s, reports on them internally and externally and takes appropriate actions.
- Responsible for the partnership mindset and investment in the relationship.
- Lead contract (re)negotiations, qualitative execution of Inventory Management processes to maintain accuracy and alignment.
**WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?**

You will work closely with Nike’s Sales, Operations and Marketing team, 3PLs and partners in SEA&I, connecting logistics strategies and objectives to contribute to their success and integrates x-functionally.

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Bachelor’s degree with Specialization in logistics or business.
- 8 to 10 years of direct relevant work experience in Operations/ Logistics (preferably warehousing), Inbound Supply and Customs compliance.
