Our messaging middleware team is responsible for the research and development of Tiktok messaging platform. We manage the Message Queue systems of all products such as Douyin, TikTok, Toutiao, Xigua Video and Hotsoon. We are industry-leading in the scale of data covered.

Because we are extremely sensitive to the stability and cost of external services, we have developed an in-house message queue BMQ. BMQ's architecture is based on the principle of segregation between storage and computing. It is also compatible with the kafka protocol. In addition to pursuing high levels of stability and optimized cost, we are also actively exploring and expanding supported business scenarios, leveraging the potential value of original log data, and accessing batch computing engines.

**Responsibilities**:

- Construct an efficient and stable messaging platform. Continuous optimization to improve stability, performance and cost optimization. Build the next generation computing and storage separation architecture on a trillion-level messaging platform;
- Play a key role in driving project objectives and execution management, architecture design and code reviews, define long term technical roadmap for the team, and demonstrate technical leadership;
- Recruit and mentor engineers of various levels of experience into a performant team, build team culture and cohesion, help team members grow technical capabilities;
- Work closely with stakeholder teams to identify business pain points, continuously optimize and improve customer experience, team reputation, and impact.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields;
- 6+ years of professional software development experience;
- Strong with C++/Golang/Java/Python program development (at least one), pursue high-quality code and focused on code engineering quality;
- Solid knowledge of Linux system, proficient in multi-threading, network programming, and distributed development in any programming language;
- Good communication skills, able to lead and drive projects effectively. Familiar with team and project management methodologies and approaches.

Preferred Qualifications
- In-depth research and industry experience in large-scale messaging platform design and implementation, for example Kafka/RocketMQ/Pulsar/NSQ;
- Contributor/Committer or PMC of the open-source community is a plus.
