**Description**

Koch Engineered Solutions is looking for a solutions development engineer who will report to the commercial team that is driving opportunities in up-and-coming market segments.

The role involves interaction with our valued customers in the Asia Pacific region, our regional and global offices hence encompass a level of business travel and multi-lingual communications.

**A Day In The Life Typically Includes**:

- Studying and keeping abreast of KES’ product, systems and service offerings
- Performing preliminary process calculations and frame up technical information for smooth and efficient transfer to the process engineering team
- Preparing and performing technical presentations to our valued customers
- Preparing proposals of KES’ engineered solutions
- Meeting with our valued customers to drive opportunity development and gather valuable information that would contribute to the successful development of a project
- Actively engage with our internal sales, engineering and operations team to optimize and deliver competitive proposals

**What You Will Need**:

- Engineering degree (Chemical/Mechanical/Environmental) with minimum 3 -5 years relevant experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in English Language.
- Proficiency in Second Language is preferred though not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organization skills and ability for multitasking
- in a fast-paced work environment.
- Customer-focused.
- Pro-active attitude and a self-starter.
- Resourcefulness
- Effective team player who works well in multidisciplinary teams.
- Must be able to travel up to 30~40% of the time on an ongoing basis.

- Understanding of combustion, mass transfer, phase separations, digital solutions is a plus
- Experience in project development, project execution, commissioning, plant operations is a plus
- Keen engineering sense
