Title - Senior (Trading) Application Support Analyst

Level - Middle

Job responsibilities/duties:

- Proactively monitor and maintain trading systems, identifying potential problems before they impact operations.
- Manage the escalation process for complex issues, liaising with vendor support teams and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendor support teams to ensure efficient problem resolution.
- Create and update documentation on troubleshooting processes and escalation procedures.
- Collaborate with traders and middle office personnel to understand their needs and optimize system configurations.
- Participate in vendor system upgrades and testing to ensure mínimal disruption to trading activities.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in an IT related field

Min years of experience (overall industry):
At least 5 years of experience in financial technology support, preferably in a hedge fund or investment banking environment.

Any other skillset and requirements:

- Hands-on experience with at least two of the following systems: FlexTrade, Tradeweb, Markitwire, Orchestrade, TS Imagine, or Trading Technologies.
- Experience with virtualization/remote access technology such as Citrix.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-system issues.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing vendor relationships and escalation processes.
