Curriculum Development and Teaching Intern

Assist the curriculum team at Academia Education Centre to develop and enhance learning materials for students ranging from primary school to junior college
- Assist teachers with teaching and hosting lessons, whether physical or online, including managing students in classroom, when required
- Assisting with marking and review of students’ work, according to centre's standard
- Interns are also given the freedom to develop engaging educational content to be delivered in print and/or digital platforms
- Positions are available for Primary English level, Secondary O Level English, IP English and JC General Paper
- Background in General Paper is highly advantageous.

**Profile and background**
- A strong background and proficiency with English language is most important. English majors are highly welcomed but not absolutely required. Undergraduates majoring in humanities and social sciences are also a good fit for this role.
- Good work ethics and being able to communicate effectively and manage the expectations not only of parents and students, but also the teachers.
- Willingness and ability to work on weekends, minimum 3 workdays per week (ability to commit 1 weekend per week will be a bonus)
- Ability to work independently and synthesise content and research materials from various sources
- Interns should deploy creativity, meticulousness and rigor when developing educational content, in line with the high standards of the organization
