Teaching & Curriculum Intern

About Us

We are a growing tuition centre dedicated to helping primary and secondary school students achieve academic excellence. Our focus is on building strong foundations, nurturing confidence, and providing personalized support.

We are looking for a motivated Teaching & Curriculum Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity for polytechnic/university students who are passionate about education and want hands-on experience in teaching, curriculum development, and centre operations.

Responsibilities

As a Teaching & Curriculum Intern, you will:

  • Assist in teaching and guiding students (Primary & Secondary levels, depending on strengths)
  • Support in lesson preparation, marking, and resource development
  • Help maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling and communications
  • Work closely with senior tutors to learn effective teaching strategies
Requirements
  • Polytechnic or university student (any discipline, Education/Science/Math/English-related fields a plus)
  • Strong interest in education and working with children/teenagers
  • Good academic track record (A-levels, O-levels, or equivalent)
  • Patient, responsible, and proactive
  • Prior tutoring/teaching experience is a bonus, but not required (training will be provided)
Internship Details
  • Stipend: $800 – $1,200 per month (depending on experience & hours committed)
  • Duration: 6 months (with option to extend or convert to part-time/full-time)
  • Location: 150 Orchard Road, Orchard Plaza
  • Working Hours: Weekday afternoons/evenings & weekends (fixed schedule, ~20–30 hours per week)
