Permit Declarant
- Prepare and submit accurate customs declarations and import permits for ocean freight e-commerce shipments.
- Liaise with customs authorities, port operators, freight forwarders, and internal teams to ensure the timely clearance of cargo.
- Verify shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, packing lists.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address any customs-related delays or issues.
- Ensure adherence to local and international trade regulations, including HS code classification and valuation.
- Maintain and update records of declarations, permits, and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Stay current with changes in customs legislation, import/export regulations, and trade compliance policies.
- Assist in internal audits and reporting related to customs compliance and risk management.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience (2+ years) in customs clearance, freight forwarding, or a similar role within e-commerce logistics.
- Strong knowledge of import/export regulations and customs procedures for ocean freight.
- Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms), HS coding, and trade documentation.
- Certification as a Permit Declarant or equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Pay: $2,500.00 - $3,700.00 per month
