PURPOSE

FWD’s Regional Innovation Centre leverages the latest advances in tech and start-up ecosystem to deliver on digital strategy pillars to build products, apps, clients, and managed services to drive business KPIs and customer experience. The team builds new apps, services and features to drive business value. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Solutions and Integration Architect who is passionate to change the way people feel about insurance.

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES
- Architect design of complex multi-system solutions and services
- Design, develop, test, and deploy next-generation apps, clients and services
- Mobile, web and server-side development
- Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
- Work closely with product owner and UX/UI designer to build features that delight our customers
- Make data driven decisions
- Extensive development work of AI solutions

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Degree in engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages
- Startup experience
- Proven knowledge of industry leading frontend frameworks like React, Vue or Ember
- Expertise in building secure, scalable RESTFul web services
- Experience with agile development methodologies, Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI/CD
- Experience leading product development teams
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience delivering multi-lingual/internationalized solutions

KNOWLEDGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 5 years + of solutions architect or full stack software development experience
- Experience building in-house AI and Cloud Services
- Familiarity with modern programming languages
- Experience in Angular, Node.JS, React JS, CSS, CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, Ajax, JQuery required
- Java, Python, AWS or GCP experiences are preferred
