**IN BRIEF**
- Work in a team of data scientists working on data processing, mining, analysis, and modelling in medical domain to support project deliveries and further develop EVYD’s core platform

**KEY DELIVERABLES**
- A detailed data exploration report as a Jupyter notebook with graphs and comments providing insights.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Communicate with internal and external clients to understand business use cases and translate the business problems to relevant data science models and provide analytical solutions.
- Communicate results to technical and non-technical audience.
- Perform data pre-processing, feature engineering, and build data science models to address the medical related use case.
- Research, experiment, implement & document the class-leading algorithms in medical domains (e.g : NLP, Operational Research, Recommendation Systems, Chatbot etc).
- Work closely with Data Engineers /Medical Data Specialists to ensure the data science functions are delivered as a full solution with high quality.

**QUALIFICATION**
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or related fields.
- Highly proficient in programming languages such as Python and machine learning tools like Jupyter Notebook, TensorFlow, PyTorch etc.
- In-depth knowledge of statistics, machine learning, or deep learning techniques.
- Experience in healthcare company in domains such as NLP/ Optimization/ Recommendation system will be a plus.
- Experience in PaaS software development.
- Good at extracting raw data from various sources, including webpages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Proficiency in Mandarin will be a plus).
